Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has issued a warning to the central government regarding growing student protests over examination irregularities, paper leaks, and corruption in public sector recruitment. Speaking at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar, Ramdev stated that the agitation could intensify and warned that he may have to launch a protest himself if the government fails to resolve these systemic issues promptly.
Highlighting concerns over infrastructure deficiencies in educational institutions—such as shortages of teachers, water, and sanitation facilities—Ramdev criticized widespread corruption, paper leaks, and alleged favoritism based on caste and religion during selection processes. While acknowledging the validity of the students’ grievances, he urged young people and “Gen Zs” to avoid violence and keep all demonstrations within constitutional and democratic boundaries. Additionally, Ramdev condemned social and political polarization across communities, calling for unity and an end to divisive tactics.
