Despite the price adjustment, the Fortuner’s mechanical specifications remain unchanged. It continues to offer a choice between two robust engines:

2.7-Litre Petrol: Delivers 166 hp, mated exclusively to an automatic gearbox.
-
2.8-Litre Diesel: Produces 204 hp, available with both manual and automatic transmissions.
-
Mild-Hybrid Tech: The diesel engine is equipped with a 48V mild-hybrid system for enhanced efficiency.
-
Drive System: 4×2 is standard, while the 4WD system remains exclusive to the diesel powertrain.
The Premium Trims: Legender & GR-S
The steepest hikes were reserved for the lifestyle-oriented variants. The Legender 4×4 AT now retails at Rs 48.29 lakh, while the GR-S (Gazoo Racing Sport)—aimed at enthusiasts looking for a more aggressive aesthetic and performance-tuned feel—now commands a premium price of Rs 50.46 lakh.
Quick Tip: These updated prices are ex-showroom. Final “on-road” prices will vary significantly based on your state’s registration taxes and insurance costs.
