MG Motor India has announced a price hike of up to ₹60,000 across all variants of its best-selling model, the Windsor EV, effective July 2026. The automaker cited rising production costs as the primary reason for the upward revision, aligning with similar mid-year price hikes implemented by other prominent brands like Kia and Toyota.

Despite the changes in pricing, the mechanical specifications of the electric crossover remain untouched. The car continues to be offered with two distinct battery pack choices, though both setups deliver an identical output of 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque.

Standard Variants (Excite, Exclusive, Essence): These models feature a 38 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed driving range of 332 km on a full charge. They support up to 45 kW DC fast charging, which can juice up the battery from 20% to 80% in approximately 45 minutes.

Pro Variants (Exclusive Pro, Essence Pro): Designed for longer commutes, these variants are equipped with a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack, extending the driving range to 449 km. They support faster DC charging speeds of up to 60 kW, achieving a 20% to 80% charge in about 50 minutes.
