A routine evening in Gurugram quickly escalated into a scene of chaotic violence when a verbal altercation between friends culminated in a shocking display of road rage. On Friday night, a man repeatedly slammed his Mahindra Thar into a cab carrying two of his former companions in Sector 89, leaving behind a trail of severe vehicular damage and viral outrage.

According to local authorities and eyewitness accounts, the incident began when four men arrived at the location together in a Mahindra Thar bearing Delhi registration plates. A dispute soon broke out among the group, prompting two of them to distance themselves from the argument and head home.
The two friends booked a cab via Rapido and waited on the roadside. The moment the cab arrived and they stepped inside, one of the remaining men inside the Thar became violently enraged. Without warning, he accelerated the vehicle and rammed it squarely into the cab, reversing repeatedly to deliver multiple forceful impacts.
Miraculous Escape and Public Outcry
The force of the collision was intense enough to deploy both front airbags of the cab and severely cave in its front section. Despite the devastating impact to the vehicle, both passengers inside escaped without physical injuries.
Following the attack, the driver of the Thar emerged from the vehicle, screaming profanities at shocked bystanders who had whipped out their phones to record the chaos. Eyewitnesses suggested that the men inside the Thar appeared heavily intoxicated, though police have noted that official confirmation will only be established after a thorough medical and forensic investigation.

The driver and his associate fled the scene before local police arrived. Law enforcement has since launched an active manhunt following a formal complaint filed by the cab driver.
“The investigation so far has revealed that the Thar used in the incident is registered in Delhi. Based on its registration number, we are trying to identify its owner and the accused youths. The accused will be arrested soon,” a senior police officer stated.
