-
Sender Identity: The email reportedly originated from an address identified as
Kiruthiha.udhayanidhi@hotmail, appearing to spoof the name of a member of the Chief Minister’s family.

Following the receipt of the emails, officials under the Byappanahalli police station limits took the following actions:
-
Evacuation & Search: The premises were cleared, and a thorough search was conducted by the Bomb Disposal Squad and fire services. No explosives were found.
-
Defense Alert: As a precautionary measure, security has been bolstered across all defense and strategic establishments in Bengaluru.
-
Investigation: The Central Crime Branch is currently tracking the digital footprint of the email to identify the perpetrator behind the hoax.
