Aston Martin has crossed over into the gaming world, partnering with the creators of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 to design a virtual, military-spec 4×4 SUV called the Dreadnought. Named after the historic British Royal Navy battleship to signify a machine that “fears nothing,” the vehicle trades Aston Martin’s typical sleek luxury styling for a rugged, armored aesthetic. A full-scale model of the concept is currently showcasing at Fanatics Fest in New York until July 19.
Rugged Exterior Styling Finished in Chiltern Green, the fictional off-roader features exaggerated proportions tailored for combat zones. The front end is equipped with a pixel-style grille, horizontally stacked LED headlights, mesh LED fog lamps, dual silver tow hooks, and a heavy-duty skid plate. The side profile highlights squared wheel arches, chunky off-road tires on dual-tone alloy wheels, camera-based side mirrors, and flush door handles. The rear echoes the aggressive theme with Valour-style aerodynamic fins, multiple LED tail lamps, a quad-exhaust system, and a secondary skid plate.
Combat-Ready Cabin The two-seater interior blends high-end materials with tactical functionality, utilizing a green-and-black leather color scheme highlighted by gold accents and carbon-fiber trim. Drivers steer via a two-spoke wheel positioned ahead of twin circular digital instruments. A massive touchscreen spans the dashboard to display both in-game menus and real-time off-road data. Rounding out the military motif are a gold-finished gear selector, physical console switchgear, and bright orange fabric door pull-straps.
V12 Performance Rather than utilizing a generic digital asset, the Dreadnought operates as a true Aston Martin within the game’s driving engine. It features the distinctive, recorded engine notes and performance physics of a signature Aston Martin V12 powertrain, ensuring the virtual driving dynamics match the brand’s mechanical heritage.
