Volkswagen India is celebrating the fourth anniversary of its Virtus sedan by introducing a wave of customer-focused offers, finance schemes, and loyalty rewards. Built on the MQB A0 IN platform and launched in 2022, the C-segment sedan has carved out a strong position in the premium executive market, driven by its sleek design, solid performance, and robust safety package.
To commemorate the milestone, the carmaker is rolling out anniversary benefits designed for both new buyers and existing owners. The package includes “Buy Now, Pay Later” financial schemes, loyalty perks for returning customers, and dedicated celebration incentives. Additionally, Volkswagen has introduced exclusive targeted offers for specific professional groups, namely doctors and chartered accountants.
Reflecting on the vehicle’s market success, Volkswagen revealed that it has sold an average of one Virtus every 24 minutes since its launch, with Indian buyers showing a distinct preference for the performance-oriented GT variants and automatic transmissions. Dealerships across the country are hosting modest celebratory events alongside these personalized finance and loyalty packages to engage prospective buyers.
Currently, the Volkswagen Virtus starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs 10.70 lakh. The sedan’s powertrain options include a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI engine—available with manual and automatic transmissions—and a more powerful 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI engine, which pairs with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Looking ahead, the brand plans to introduce a torque-converter automatic option for the 1.0-litre variants.
“Celebrating 4 years of the Virtus is a proud milestone for Volkswagen India,” said Nitin Kohli, Brand Director of Volkswagen India. “It reflects the trust our customers have placed in the brand and the enduring appeal of the Virtus. These special anniversary benefits, including exclusive offers for Doctors and Chartered Accountants, are our way of thanking our customers and welcoming more enthusiasts to the Volkswagen family.”
