Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh met activist Sonam Wangchuk on Tuesday evening following his admission to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, according to official sources.
Wangchuk was transferred to Medanta from Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital around 7:30 PM under heavy security. The relocation was executed in accordance with a Delhi High Court directive allowing the activist to receive treatment at a medical facility of his choice.
Upon arrival, Wangchuk was admitted to ICU 8, where he is currently receiving specialized care under the supervision of Dr. Sushila Kataria, an internal medicine specialist. The visiting ministers met with Wangchuk to check on his health status and ensure adequate care is being provided.
