Triumph Motorcycles is gearing up to expand its popular 400cc portfolio in India with the upcoming launch of the Bonneville 400, slated for a festive debut before Diwali 2026. Manufactured locally by Bajaj Auto at its Pune plant, the new modern-classic roadster aims to take on heavyweights like the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB350.

Classic Styling & Design: Unlike the sportier Speed 400, the Bonneville 400 features a traditional roadster aesthetic complete with a teardrop fuel tank, flat bench seat, circular LED headlamp, generous chrome accents, and a peashooter-style exhaust.

Mechanical Setup: It swaps out upside-down forks for conventional telescopic front forks to honor its retro roots. Spy shots also indicate wire-spoke wheels with tubed tires.

Performance Edge: Powered by Triumph’s trusted liquid-cooled platform (anticipated around a 349cc single-cylinder engine), it is expected to punch out roughly 36.5 bhp and 32 Nm of torque—significantly higher figures than air-cooled rivals like the Classic 350 (~20.2 bhp) and Honda CB350 (~21 bhp).
