Tabu and Nagarjuna Akkineni are set to reunite on screen after nearly three decades for the veteran Telugu actor’s landmark 100th film, currently operating under the working title King 100. In a notable twist, sources have confirmed that Tabu will step into a rare role as the film’s primary antagonist. While she has previously delivered acclaimed performances in grey and complex roles—such as in Maqbool (2003), Haider (2014), and Andhadhun (2018)—this project marks a definitive turn as a main villain.
The duo last shared screen space in the 1998 Telugu film Aavida Maa Aavide, following their pairing in the 1996 blockbuster Ninne Pelladata.
