Nissan Motor India has officially rolled back the introductory launch pricing on its newly introduced 7-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), the Nissan Gravite. Following a price upward revision ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 18,000 across different trims, the sub-four-metre family vehicle now carries a price bracket between Rs 5.73 lakh and Rs 9.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
Initially debuted in February 2026, the introductory edge was reserved for the first 1,001 buyers. With that initial batch spoken for, the standard price adjustment has been integrated across the modular variant tree.
Variant-Wise Price Breakup
The extent of the price adjustment depends squarely on the chosen variant, affecting both manual (MT) and automated manual transmissions (AMT).
| Variant / Trim | New Price (Ex-Showroom) | Price Hike Amount |
| Visia MT (Base) | Rs 5.73 Lakh | + Rs 8,000 |
| Acenta MT | Rs 6.68 Lakh | + Rs 9,000 |
| N-Connecta MT | Rs 7.38 Lakh | + Rs 18,000 (Highest) |
| N-Connecta AMT | Rs 7.95 Lakh | + Rs 15,000 |
| Tekna MT | Rs 8.08 Lakh | + Rs 17,000 |
| Tekna AMT | Rs 8.64 Lakh | + Rs 15,000 |
| Limited Launch Edition AMT (Top) | Rs 9.08 Lakh | + Rs 15,000 |
Styling, Layout, and Interior Features
The Gravite shares its structural underpinnings, platform, and flexible cabin layout with alliance-partner Renault’s Triber, but distinguishes itself via aggressive Nissan styling DNA.
-
Exterior Persona: Features the brand’s signature bold V-Motion front grille layout, sleek swept-back headlamps with integrated LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), sharp front bumper styling with contrast silver skid plates, and unique “Gravite” typography.
-
Seating Versatility: The modular 7-seater layout allows the second row to recline, slide, fold, and tumble forward. The third-row seating can be split 50:50, folded down, or completely detached and removed from the trunk to transform seating into an expansive 625-litre luggage bay.
-
Tech and Amenities: The dashboard houses a dual-screen stack—comprising an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment console supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto alongside a 7-inch digital driver instrument setup. Higher trims come equipped with a premium JBL sound system, independent rear air conditioning blowers, ambient mood lighting, a built-in air purifier, auto headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers.
Mechanical Specifications and Fuel Efficiency
Under the hood, the Nissan Gravite relies on a singular, fuel-efficient motor ideal for low-maintenance city commutes:
-
Engine Type: 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine.
-
Power Output: 71 hp (71.01 bhp) paired with a peak torque of 96 Nm.
-
Transmission Choices: 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT / EZ Shift).
-
Claimed Mileage (ARAI):
-
Manual Transmission: 19.3 kmpl
-
AMT Automatic Transmission: 19.6 kmpl
-
Additionally, for buyers seeking a secondary fuel route, Nissan has introduced a factory-approved, dual-cylinder CNG retrofit kit option that can be retrofitted across selected dealer networks for an incremental cost of roughly Rs 83,000.
