LG Electronics has introduced its new Professional Laundry lineup, expanding its business-to-business (B2B) portfolio with commercial washers, dryers, and combination units. Engineered for high-volume environments like hotels, hospitals, laundromats, and industrial facilities, the lineup will debut in Europe before expanding to Asia and North America.
High-Volume Performance and Efficiency
The cornerstone of the new range is the Professional Washer-Dryer, an all-in-one, ductless machine capable of completing a full wash-and-dry cycle in approximately one hour (based on a standard 7kg load).

AI Weight Detection: Automatically calculates load size to optimize water and energy consumption.

Dual Inverter HeatPump Technology: Dries garments at lower temperatures to protect fabrics and cut down on utility costs.

Dynamic Ball-Core System: Utilizes a built-in gyro sensor to detect and correct drum imbalances, enabling spin speeds up to 1,100 RPM. This high-speed extraction removes more water upfront, shortening drying times and lowering operating noise.

Sensor Dry: Continuously monitors moisture levels to prevent fabric over-drying.

Wet Cleaning with MotionCare: Designed for delicate fabrics, this setting uses specialized drum movements and low-temperature drying to minimize wear and tear.
Smart Capabilities and Maintenance Focus
To minimize operational downtime, LG built the machines with a Front Service Ready design, giving technicians rapid access to internal components. Maintenance is further simplified by a Heat Exchanger Cleaning Assist program that flushes the exchanger after every cycle, alongside an Intertek-verified Tub Clean cycle that eliminates bacteria inside the drum.
Operators can manage the units via a 7-inch ProGuide LCD touchscreen or use the LaundryCrew app for remote monitoring, data tracking, and software updates. For larger operations, LG offers Open API support, allowing companies to integrate the machines directly into their proprietary facility management systems.
