To celebrate a historic milestone in motorsport history, McLaren has pulled the silk off a highly exclusive version of its high-performance hybrid supercar. Named the McLaren Artura 1000GP, this limited-run collector’s car commemorates the McLaren Formula 1 Team crossing its monumental 1,000th Grand Prix start milestone, which it celebrated at the legendary Monaco Grand Prix.
Hand-crafted by the brand’s bespoke personalization division, McLaren Special Operations (MSO), production is strictly limited to just 10 units worldwide, making it one of the rarest modern McLarens ever produced.
Formula 1 Inspired Aesthetics
The defining trait of the Artura 1000GP is its distinctive visual identity. The vehicle’s livery takes direct inspiration from the special Monaco Grand Prix look sported by the MCL40 F1 race cars driven by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
The exterior features striking, pixelated Papaya Orange graphics and custom ‘1000GP’ branding sprawled across the hood, side panels, lower bodywork, and side mirror caps. MSO has also integrated subtle pinstripe accents along the front splitter and rear diffuser, offering a quiet nod to legendary race cars from McLaren’s historic catalog.
Step inside, and the cabin separates itself from a standard Artura via an exclusive, metallic papaya commemorative plaque detailing the F1 team’s 1,000-race legacy.
Unchanged Hybrid Performance
Underneath its bespoke skin, the Artura 1000GP retains the cutting-edge mechanical architecture of the standard hybrid supercar. It pairs a lightweight V6 internal combustion engine with an electric motor for relentless, immediate acceleration.

Since entering Formula 1 in the 1960s under founder Bruce McLaren, the Woking-based outfit has grown into one of the sport’s most dominant forces, securing multiple Constructors’ World Championships and over 200 individual Grand Prix victories.
Given that only 10 examples will ever exist, the Artura 1000GP is destined to be an instantly coveted piece of automotive history—perfectly blending advanced hybrid engineering with six decades of elite racing pedigree.
