The second phase of this year’s prestigious civilian awards presentation is locked in. President Droupadi Murmu will confer the Padma Awards upon 65 eminent personalities at the second Civil Investiture Ceremony, scheduled to take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 23, 2026.
This upcoming event follows the first ceremony held last month, where 66 recipients were recognized. Together, these two ceremonies fulfill the total list of 131 standard Padma Awards approved by the President on Republic Day this year—comprising 5 Padma Vibhushan, 13 Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri honors.
