Royal Enfield has officially sharpened its liquid-cooled lineup with the launch of the Guerrilla 450 Apex. Priced starting at ₹2.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the Apex variant is designed specifically for riders seeking a more “spirited” and committed experience compared to the standard Dash variant.
While it shares the potent Sherpa engine with the Himalayan 450, the Apex introduces several ergonomic and performance-oriented tweaks that cater to a younger, speed-focused demographic.
5 Key Highlights of the Apex Variant
-
Aggressive Ergonomics: The biggest change is a lower handlebar, forcing the rider into a forward-leaning, “committed” stance. To complete the sporty look, it features a single-seat setup with a rear cowl instead of a pillion seat.
-
Superior Tarmac Grip: Moving away from the dual-purpose Ceat Gripp XL tires, the Apex is equipped with Vredestein Centuro ST tyres. These are engineered for better asphalt performance and improved confidence on wet or low-traction roads.
-
Smart Ride Modes: All variants now include a mode-retention feature, meaning the bike remembers your last selected ride mode (Street or Sport) even after you cycle the ignition. Throttle response has also been tuned for smoother transitions.
-
High-Tech Navigation: It retains the premium 4-inch TFT Tripper Dash from the Himalayan, offering full Google Maps integration and smartphone connectivity as standard.
-
Long-Term Peace of Mind: Royal Enfield is sweetening the deal with a new 7-year extended warranty package, a significant jump for the brand aimed at building long-term trust with newer riders.
