Ahead of its official debut, images and details of the upcoming MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition have leaked online, revealing distinct styling updates and a premium feature bump just in time for the festive shopping season.
Exterior Styling and Aesthetics
Leaked photographs indicate that the Indulge Edition will feature a striking gold exterior paint scheme paired with contrasting gloss-black alloy wheels. It also gets an exclusive “Indulge” badge, while retaining standard elements like the blacked-out roof, ORVMs, and lower body cladding.
Cabin Upgrades and Feature Additions
-
Tan and Black Interior: The cabin shifts to a dual-tone tan and black upholstery theme, complete with “Indulge” branding embossed on the headrests.
-
Rear Passenger Entertainment: A major highlight of the special edition is the addition of a roof-mounted flip-down entertainment screen for rear-seat passengers, augmenting the large central touchscreen.
Powertrain and Expected Battery Options
Mechanically, the Indulge Edition is expected to carry over the standard Windsor EV’s electric architecture. It will likely utilize the larger 52.9 kWh battery pack (delivering a claimed range of up to 449 km) or the 332-km range 38 kWh battery, paired with a front-axle-mounted motor producing 136 hp and 220 Nm of torque.
Positioned as a top-tier luxury trim above the standard variants, the Indulge Edition is expected to command a modest price premium over the standard Windsor EV, which starts at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom with Battery-as-a-Service / BaaS).
