Actress Samantha expressed immense joy on social media after meeting the newly elected Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Vijay, in Chennai. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared pictures from their meeting alongside an emotional note praising Vijay’s transition from cinema to state leadership.
“When I landed in Chennai today, I felt this immense sense of happiness. I was going to meet our CM,” Samantha wrote. She reflected on his star power, adding, “I’ve always felt that Vijay sir was never meant to be just a hero on screen. His energy, his presence, and the way people respond to him always felt like he was meant for something bigger.”
Inspiration in a New Arena
Samantha emphasized how much she admires the political risk taken by the actor-turned-politician, applauding his decision to leave behind a secure, highly successful cinematic career for public service.
“What inspires me most is the courage it takes to step into a completely new arena. To leave behind what you have already mastered and take on a challenge where the stakes are so much higher,” she expressed. “Wishing him strength, wisdom and the courage to stay the course.”
She concluded her post with an encouraging message for the youth, stating that Vijay’s journey serves as a powerful reminder that life can evolve into something much grander than one’s initial dreams.
