Actor and politician Kushboo Sundar, along with her family, personally met the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru Vijay, at his residence to extend a formal invitation to her elder daughter Avantika’s upcoming wedding.
Kushboo was accompanied by her husband, acclaimed filmmaker Sundar C, their daughters Avantika and Anandita, and her future son-in-law, Shravan Sreenivasan.
A Heartfelt Family Moment
Sharing pictures from the meeting on her Instagram profile, Kushboo penned an emotional note reflecting on her long-standing relationship with the actor-turned-politician, whom she fondly refers to as her brother:
“A truly special and memorable day for our family as we met my dearest brother, our Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Shri @actorvijay avl, at his residence and extended the invitation for our daughter’s wedding with Shri Shravan Sreenivasan. Seeing him always fills our hearts with pride and happiness. The children were absolutely thrilled and couldn’t take their eyes off him. Despite his demanding schedule, he welcomed us with the same warmth, affection, and beautiful smile that we have always cherished.”
Kushboo had previously congratulated Chief Minister Vijay following his major political milestone and electoral victory with his party, Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), praising him as a true leader of the people (JanaNayagan).

The meeting with the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister comes just days after the family traveled to New Delhi to extend a personal wedding invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
