Prominent actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to social media to show her support for her former brother-in-law, Akhil Akkineni, ahead of the theatrical debut of his rural action entertainer, Lenin.
Sharing the film’s official trailer on her Instagram Stories, Samantha expressed immense confidence in the movie’s cinematic appeal, writing: “Wishing Lenin, Akhil Akkineni, and the whole team the very best. Big blockbuster vibes already.”

Samantha was previously married to Akhil’s elder brother, actor Naga Chaitanya, tying the knot in 2017 before amicably announcing their separation in October 2021. Both have since moved forward into new chapters of their personal lives. Naga Chaitanya married actress Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024, while Samantha married acclaimed filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1, 2025.

I’ll have to take maternity leave. After that, I’ll be back with another film for my fans.”
