Bollywood superstar Salman Khan reacted with intense anger on social media following a tense confrontation with paparazzi outside Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. The actor, who was visiting an undisclosed individual at the medical facility, fiercely criticized the photographers for tracking his vehicle and hounding him during a deeply personal and distressing moment.
The confrontation escalated late Tuesday night when viral videos captured the actor visibly losing his cool, leading to a series of raw, late-night emotional statements shared directly across his social media profiles.
The Incident Outside Hinduja Hospital
According to eyewitness accounts and local reports, a group of paparazzi spotted Salman Khan’s vehicle stopped at a traffic signal earlier in the evening and proceeded to tail his car all the way to the hospital gates.
While entering the facility, the actor remained quiet. However, the situation deteriorated sharply upon his exit.
-
The Instigation: As Salman walked out of the hospital premises, a cluster of photographers began shouting his name alongside loud chants of “Maatrubhumi”—the title of his upcoming action film—to grab his attention for photos.
-
The Confrontation: Visibly irritated by the insensitivity of promoting a film project outside a medical building, Salman walked directly toward the media line. Gesturing firmly, he reprimanded them, asking, “Pagal ho gaye ho kya? (Have you gone crazy?)”
-
The Reality Check: The actor sharply questioned how they would feel if a member of their own family were admitted to a hospital. Realizing the gravity of their intrusion, several photographers were heard apologizing to the actor on camera before he departed.
The Social Media Backlash: “I Haven’t Forgotten How to Fight”
The frustration did not end at the hospital gates. At around 2:00 AM, Salman took to Instagram to share a string of unfiltered selfies paired with heavy, direct warnings about media boundaries and celebrity privacy.
In his first post, he drew a line between supporting the media’s livelihood and allowing them to exploit personal grief.
“If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain. The press that I have stood for, interacted with, taken care of, made sure that they also earn their bread n butter…”
Continuing the thought in a secondary, highly charged post, he slammed the use of his upcoming movie’s name during a sensitive time:
“But if they wanna make money from my losses… keep quiet, don’t enjoy. Bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life? (Is a picture more important than human life?)”
In his final and most severe warning, the actor reminded the paparazzi that despite his age, he is fully prepared to stand his ground and face legal consequences if pushed too far.
“Aise main sau jala doonga. Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par अगली बार (next time) try kar lena mere sath. Buss try kar lena,” he wrote. “Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haaa. (I have turned 60 years old, but I haven’t forgotten how to fight, keep that in mind. And sure, put me in jail.)”
Upcoming Professional Roster
Despite the personal friction, the actor remains deeply tied to major upcoming cinematic properties under the Salman Khan Films banner.
He is currently actively filming Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, a heavily retooled high-budget project directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangada Singh. Additionally, the actor is dividing his schedule to shoot a highly anticipated commercial action-drama tentatively titled SVC63, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and featuring South Indian star Nayanthara.
