In a strategic move to make long-range electric mobility more accessible, Tata Motors has officially launched the Curvv.ev SeriesX. This new lineup introduces three high-capacity variants that bring the larger 55 kWh battery pack down to a significantly more affordable price point, starting at just Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Democratizing the 55 kWh Battery
Previously, customers wanting the 55 kWh battery had to opt for the ‘Accomplished’ trim, which started at Rs 19.25 lakh. With the introduction of the SeriesX, Tata has slashed the entry price for the larger battery by Rs 2.25 lakh, effectively “democratizing” long-range travel for Indian EV buyers.

Range and Performance
The SeriesX maintains the impressive performance metrics of the original Curvv EV. It boasts a MIDC range of 502 km on a single charge. For real-world highway driving, Tata highlights a C75 range of 400 km, positioning the SUV Coupe as a legitimate tool for effortless intercity travel.

Commenting on the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., stated that the SeriesX personas are designed to make electric mobility more “accessible and rewarding,” offering a cohesive, benefit-led range that raises the standard in the competitive Mid-SUV category.
