Lexus India has significantly enhanced its ownership package by introducing a standard 8-year warranty for all new vehicles, effective from April 1, 2026. This move aims to provide long-term peace of mind for luxury car buyers without requiring any additional premium.
Key Highlights of the New Policy
The revised warranty structure is designed to accommodate high-usage drivers and long-term owners:

Coverage Limit: Up to 8 years or 2,00,000 km (whichever occurs first).

Previous Policy: This updates the June 2024 plan, which offered 8 years but was capped at 1,60,000 km.

Cost: Offered at no extra cost to the buyer; it is included in the vehicle’s purchase price.

Applicability: Valid for all new vehicles delivered from April 1, 2026, onwards.
Models Covered
The new 8-year/2,00,000 km warranty applies uniformly across the entire Lexus India portfolio, regardless of body style:

Sedans: ES300h and the LS500h luxury saloon.

SUVs & Off-roaders: NX, RX, and the flagship LX.

Luxury MPV: The LM.
Note for Existing Owners: Vehicles purchased before April 2026 will continue to be covered under the previous 8-year/1,60,000 km terms. There is no retroactive upgrade for older vehicles.
