A late-night confrontation turned fatal in Southwest Delhi’s Jafarpur Kalan village when a Delhi Police officer allegedly opened fire on a group of labourers. The incident, which occurred around 2:00 AM on Sunday, left one man dead and another fighting for his life.
The Conflict
The violence reportedly erupted after a dispute regarding noise levels. A group of labourers residing in a local colony were reportedly partying when the accused policeman, who lives in the immediate vicinity, confronted them.
What began as a verbal argument quickly escalated. According to police sources, the officer allegedly drew a firearm and discharged multiple rounds at the group.
Casualties and Current Status

Deceased: One labourer died on the spot after being struck by gunfire.

Injured: A second labourer sustained gunshot wounds and is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.

The Suspect: The officer fled the scene immediately following the shooting and remains at large.
