A devastating road accident on the Lakhtar-Viramgam Highway claimed the lives of seven people late Sunday night, after a speeding truck plowed into a group of pilgrims and a stranded driver.
Details of the Incident
The victims were part of a group traveling on foot from Gadhka village (Rajkot) to a temple in Dekawala. The tragedy occurred near Bhaskarpara as the pilgrims were navigating around a stationary dumper parked on the shoulder of the road for a tire change.
