Bipasha Basu, whose own daughter is also named Devi, took to the comments section of Deepika’s announcement post to share a behind-the-scenes anecdote about their shared appreciation for the name.
“So you were really serious when you told me you love the name Devi,” Bipasha wrote, highlighting a prior conversation between the two actresses.
The two stars share a professional history dating back to their co-star days in Siddharth Anand’s 2008 romantic comedy Bachna Ae Haseeno.
