Munmun Dutta, widely known for her portrayal of Babita Iyer in the long-running hit sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, recently offered fans a rare, behind-the-scenes look at what the iconic Gokuldham Society sets look like when the cameras stop rolling.

Walking through the quiet, familiar surroundings between shots, Dutta shared video footage of the empty sets. Jokingly capturing the eerie vibe of the deserted area, she wrote:
“Sets look haunted… when not at work.”
Reflecting on Growing Up on Set
Having been associated with the show since its inception 18 years ago, Dutta turned reflective as she revisited various spots that have defined her career. Describing a mix of emotions ranging from “melancholy to peace,” she shared a Polaroid-style photograph and opened up about her deep bond with the project:
“I take walks here in between shots, relive all the memories, and I realise that I have actually grown up on this set. And how blessed I feel.”
She also revealed an emotional connection to the classic song “Saawan Beeto Jaaye,” admitting that listening to it on set still brings her to tears as she thinks back on her long tenure with the show.
