JSW MG Motor India is set to officially showcase its new flagship electric vehicle, the MG Hector Tomahawk EV, on August 26, 2026. The upcoming three-row SUV was recently spotted completely undisguised during a TVC shoot in Pune, giving automotive enthusiasts a clear look at its exterior design and presence ahead of its official debut.
The Hector Tomahawk will serve as the debut vehicle for MG’s new ADAPT (Advanced Drive Architecture Platform Technology) platform. The multi-powertrain flexible architecture will support battery electric variants alongside potential plug-in hybrid (PHEV) options in the future.

Design & Dimensions: Based on the Wuling Eksion, the Hector Tomahawk features a length of 4,745 mm and a 2,810 mm wheelbase, accommodating a spacious seven-seater three-row configuration.

Interior & Amenities: Teaser previews reveal a minimalist, beige-themed cabin equipped with a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, a 50W wireless phone charger, three-zone automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.

Powertrain & Range: Driven by a front-mounted electric motor delivering 201 hp and 310 Nm, the EV is expected to house a 69.2 kWh LFP battery pack offering a claimed range of over 500 km per charge.

Safety & ADAS: Standard equipment will include a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, six airbags, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and an electronic parking brake.
Expected to be competitively priced between ₹18 lakh and ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom), the MG Hector Tomahawk EV will compete directly with upcoming three-row electric rivals, including the Mahindra XEV 9e and the Kia Carens Clavis EV.
