In the wake of intense student demonstrations over alleged NEET-UG exam irregularities, CPI(ML) Liberation MLA Sandeep Saurav was arrested by Patna Police for allegedly inciting violence during protests in Bihar’s capital.
Saurav, the legislator from Paliganj and former national general secretary of the All India Students’ Association (AISA), was taken into custody from his residence ahead of a state-wide Bihar bandh called by student groups.
