Royal Enfield has bridged the gap between factory production and elite custom culture with the official launch of the Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts
This ultra-limited release brings the dark, signature aesthetic of Taipei-based custom builder Winston Yeh (Rough Crafts) directly to the showroom.
Design Elements & Upgrades
While the core chassis and motor remain untouched, the visual package transforms the standard bobber into a collector’s piece:
-
The Paintwork: A rich, high-contrast mix of Gloss Jet Black and Matte Stealth Black panels.
-
The Detailing: Elegant, hand-applied gold leaf pinstripes with soft grey accents running along the tank and fenders.
-
Exclusive Hardware: An individually numbered tank plaque, custom cast-brass collaboration badges, a premium quilted leather seat, and contrast-cut alloy wheels.
-
Front Stance: Striking gold-anodized front fork tubes that perfectly complement the pinstriping.
Pure Mechanical Roots
Under the custom skin, the mechanical setup is identical to the standard Shotgun 650:
-
Engine: 648cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled
-
Output: $47\text{ hp}$ at $7,250\text{ rpm}$ and $52.3\text{ Nm}$ of torque at $5,650\text{ rpm}$
-
Transmission: Six-speed gearbox with an assist-and-slipper clutch
The “Drop” & Indian Availability
Securing one will require perfect timing. Royal Enfield is utilizing a flash-sale “Drop” system:
-
Global Run: Only 100 units worldwide.
-
India Allocation: Just 25 units, priced at ₹5.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
-
The Timeline: Registrations open on the Royal Enfield App and website from July 15 to July 30, 2026. The sale goes live on July 30 at 7:00 PM IST on a strict first-come, first-served basis.
Each of the 25 Indian buyers will also receive a numbered, signed design sketch of the original “Caliber Royale” custom bike by Winston Yeh.
