The legendary “fastest Indian” is refusing to fade away. Bajaj Auto has rolled out a significant aesthetic and functional update for its cult-classic Pulsar 220F, replacing the aging halogen projector headlight with a modern LED headlamp setup featuring integrated LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).
This marks the second major tweak for the semi-faired icon following a cosmetic refresh in December 2025, which introduced updated graphics, LED turn indicators, and new color choices to dealerships.
What’s New and What Stays the Same?
The primary change centers entirely on the front fascia. The new premium LED headlight assembly slots directly into the traditional, aggressive fairing, giving the front end a sharper, more contemporary stance while completely preserving the bike’s unmistakable silhouette.
Mechanically, Bajaj has left the time-tested powertrain completely untouched.
The Premium: New Pricing Structures
The addition of premium LED illumination comes with a price adjustment. The updated Bajaj Pulsar 220F is now priced at ₹1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This reflects an ₹8,000 premium over its previous ₹1.28 lakh price tag following the late-2025 graphic overhaul.
Why the 220F Endures: Despite being one of the oldest architectures in Bajaj’s stable, the Pulsar 220F continues to enjoy immense popularity and steady sales. This lighting upgrade addresses a long-standing demand from fans, ensuring the bike stays relevant against newer rivals without disrupting its formula of affordable raw performance.
Looking ahead, this update is part of a much larger product offensive from Bajaj Auto. The manufacturer is currently testing its next-generation Pulsar 125 on public roads, paving the way for a comprehensive lineup restructuring later this year.
